Youth Powerboat Certification Class

Student Age: 12+ (no exceptions)

Dates Offered: June 15th-August 21st, 9am-3:30pm daily 

Price: $600. Students need only take 1 session of this course for certification!

This is a hands-on, on-the-water course is for anyone who wants to learn how to safely operate a small motorboat and improve their boathandling skills. No previous experience is required! The US Coast Guard and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) have approved this course and an increasing number of states have recognized it as meeting their requirements for a State Boating Education Certificate.​

Students will complete written and practical tests. Testing is not required to complete the course, however it is required for those hoping for certifications. Maximum 8:1 Student:Instructor ratio and led by a certified US Powerboat Instructor.
