Scholarships

The Columbia Sailing School provides need-based scholarships and grants to Chicago-area youth to participate in sailing programs and compete in various regattas.  For many families, this financial support makes a key difference in their child’s ability to participate in the sport.

Youth sailors wishing to apply for need-based scholarships can apply by filling out this application which the School’s Scholarship Committee will use to evaluate candidates. It should be completed by the applicant and/or his or her family.  Responses will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and the information herein will be used solely to evaluate applicants and kept confidential.  Applicants may be expected to prepare additional materials to support their candidacy. Applications are reviewed periodically by the Scholarship Committee during the year.
